East-West

The Butterfield Blues Band · 1966

East-West, the Butterfield Blues Band's second album, was recorded at Chess Studios in Chicago and released in 1966. Mike Bloomfield and Elvin Bishop share the guitar work, while Billy Davenport replaces Sam Lay on drums. The repertoire broadens the group's blues foundation rather than discarding it.
