Odessey and Oracle
The Zombies · 1968
Odessey and Oracle is a self-financed 1967 studio album by The Zombies, recorded after they were dropped by Decca and signed to CBS. Nine tracks were cut at Abbey Road Studio 3; three at Olympic Studios during an EMI scheduling gap. The band dissolved before its April 1968 UK release. It was their swansong — made without label support, under budget pressure, and with no safety net.
