The Atomic Mr. Basie

Count Basie and His Orchestra · 1958

Recorded in October 1957 and released in 1958, this album originally appeared as Basie and became known as The Atomic Mr. Basie. Neal Hefti composed and arranged the original programme. Later expanded editions add material from the sessions that was not part of that initial sequence.
