Pure Heroine

It abandons an early alien sci-fi concept for direct writing about heartbreak and late adolescence. Its sound centres on piano-based melodies, pulsing synthesizers, and dense electronic beats — structured as a loose concept album tracing emotions across a single house party. It was released on 16 June 2017 through Universal, Lava, and Republic Records. It was nominated for Album of the Year at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards and later ranked in Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
